Abstract

Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is a widely-adopted methodology in the intricate realm of system design, leveraging models to foster collaborative design and development endeavors. System Modeling Language (SysML) has emerged as the preeminent modeling language within MBSE, underscoring its significance. It is imperative to equip developers with comprehensive SysML-based design-level testing capabilities. This paper introduces an automated approach to generating test cases from SysML activity diagrams, addressing challenges such as state explosion and inadequate test coverage. The proposed method involves the automated analysis of activity diagram structures, followed by the generation of test paths based on these analyses. Subsequently, these test paths are integrated with test data to form and refine test cases.
