Abstract
In this paper, an automatic registration method for multisensor images based on linear feature extraction is proposed. First, linear feature elements in SAR image are extracted by using RoA operator, and intersections of the lines are obtained by connecting the lines. Then, a binary image can be got through threshold segmentation of the optical image, and the intersections of lines in optical image can be located by Radon transform of the binary image. Finally high accurate image registration can be achieved by using these extracted linear intersections as registration control points. Experiments show that our method is a promising practice in terms of accuracy, reliability and generalization.
