Abstract
Against the backdrop of China's ambitious goals to achieve carbon peak and carbon neutrality, the construction of the energy internet is advancing steadily. Concurrently, the pace of substituting electricity for other forms of energy consumption is accelerating. In this evolving power system, there is a significant deployment of facilities such as electric vehicles and energy storage, alongside the continual emergence of comprehensive energy service providers. Moreover, the market entities involved in the distribution and sale of electricity are rapidly diversifying. Set against this comprehensive background, this article delineates the operational characteristics of distributed energy resources and establishes a model for distributed power generation. This model is based on the aggregation and interaction of multiple distributed energy resources. It proposes evaluation metrics and methodologies for assessing the carrying capacity of distributed power sources. Further, it analyzes the capacity and optimal locations for integrating distributed power sources. The article also puts forward management and operational strategies for distributed power sources, aimed at promoting their development. This is with the objective of achieving cost reductions and efficiency enhancements within the power system.
