Abstract
Decorative films are an important part of surface films which are prepared mainly using physical vapor deposition technology. Owing to their characteristic bright and rich colors, these films are widely used in consumer products. Typical decorative films include golden decorative films, black decorative films, silver decorative films, and interference films. Their composition, structural parameters, and performance parameters are discussed in detail in this chapter. The classification and requirements are also demonstrated. A brief summary is provided on the development trend of decorative films, such as vibrant colors, excellent corrosion resistance, and better mechanical properties.
