Abstract

Based on the analysis of the power consumption of a drill rig while digging, the idea is drawn out that the key point of the intelligent control of the drill rig is the control of torque-rotating speed and an SPT chart can be used for control dependence. Based on the SPT chart, which can match up to the change of earth, the torque-rotating speed formula is drawn out by comparison with the power consumption formula of the drill rig. The result is a simplified method to control the verticality of the drill rig mast by the press-error inverse feedback balance valve. The flow chart of the intelligence based on SPT chart is given.
