Abstract

The resin content, the volatile content and the pre-curing degree of the silica/phenolic resin prepreg cloth were online determined by near infrared diffuse reflection spectrum. The determinative coefficients (R2) of calibration models of the resin content, the volatile content and the pre-curing degree derived by the partial least square method are 99.20, 99.14 and 99.11 respectively; root mean square errors of cross-verification (RMSECV) are 0.298, 0.144 and 0.124 respectively. Based on external verification samples, the model was analyzed by means of t-verification. Under the given significance level (at 0.05) condition, determination results of near infrared diffuse reflection spectrum method was compared with that of standard method, and there exists no significance difference. The application of near diffuse reflection spectrum method in production line of prepreg cloth can provide an effective method for quality control in the course of production.
