Abstract

Aiming at the reconstruction problem of Hall drift current during the operation of Hall thrusters, this study focuses on compensating the reconstruction accuracy of Hall drift current reduced by the magnetic signal loss. It investigated the influence of magnetic sensor signal loss on the Hall drift current reconstruction, and elaborates on applying Kriging interpolation to improve the reconstruction accuracy, so as to enhance the anti-interference ability of magnetostatic inversion method in practical applications. This method utilizes Kriging interpolation to make up the missing signals and then uses the interpolated magnetic field to reconstruct the Hall drift current. The reconstruction accuracy of the Hall drift current obtained from the interpolated magnetic field was investigated, and the results indicated that Kriging interpolation is feasible for the reconstruction of Hall drift current in the case of signal loss. This study has proved this result theoretically, and has proposed a more appropriate rule for better application of Kriging interpolation to supplement the magnetic field information.
