Application and research of bayesiantheory in test evaluation of spacecraft relay

Abstract

Reliabilityevaluation of spacecraft relay based on Bayesiantheory is an effective method studied in this paper. The spacecraft relayproducts areexpensiveandrequiredtobehighlyreliable.In this case, the classicalmethod and Bayesianmethodare compared in terms of advantages and disadvantages. Generalizations of the Bayesianprocedure are described. The practical example with the whole test evaluation process is provided too. Calculation results reveal that the estimates of test based on Bayesian theory are more accurateand more valuable than classical method when the sample size and test duration are same.
