Abstract

Aiming at the world wide problem of plane-bird collision, a new synthetic anti-bird device for airport was developed. The device contains a model-airplane-based audio device, flash lamps and a camera. System structure and work principle was introduced, and some key technologies in the system, such as telemeter and telecontrol, model airplane control, lamp and audio control, image manipulation, were demonstrated. The test data show that the anti-bird system is applicable for airport.
