Abstract

The channel encoding scheme for speech in digital trunking system is CRC+RCPC+Interleave, RCPC has a very strong ability to control errors, and the depth of decoding is also a main factor affect the system's performance. It specially emphases on analyzing rate-compatible punctured convolution code a- bout it's encoding process and characteristics. Different protected methods and depth of decoding shall be demonstrated and the simulations results shall be shown and analyzed.
