Abstract

In order to evaluate the influence toward phase self and mutual inductance when machine winding using reversed coiling, a method of coil-based analytical calculation for inductance is proposed in this paper. The inductance of coil can be recognized as the product of magnetic-permeance of flux circuit and number of turns squared per coil. With the magnetic permeance, the self and mutual of every single coil, and the phase inductance can be calculated. To start with, a air-gap magnetic-resistance based inductance analytical calculation method is proposed. After that, reversed-coiling coil-inductance and phase inductance are calculated. Lastly, a FEA (Finite Element Analyze) method is used to validate the accuracy of calculation.
