Abstract
To find out reasonable analysis methods to decrease the error produced in calculating the internal force of outer-jacketing mega frame for story-adding during construction, and study the influence of different construction methods on the internal force of member, taking a typical outer-jacketing mega frame for story-adding as an example, its internal force of member was analyzed adopting three analysis methods and three construction methods by using Finite Element Method. The analysis results show that, more errors are produced in calculating the internal force of member using traditional methods when the construction is completed, and better calculation result can be obtained by the simple simulation construction method. The peak value of internal force of member obtained during construction is quite different from the final value obtained after the construction is completed using story-by-story method. The peak value of internal force of member and the final value are approximate using self-supporting huge-beam-story and the primary and secondary construction methods.
