Analysis on affecting factors of efficiency of the contactless energy transmission system

Abstract

The loosely coupled transformer is used in the contactless energy transmission system. Compared to the conventional transformer, its coupling coefficient is not high, which leads to low energy transmission efficiency. Thus how to improve the efficiency is always the bottleneck problem in the system design and application. The paper analyzes the main influencing factors which include the primary and secondary inverter circuit, the primary and secondary compensation mode, and the contactless transformer itself, and then provides reference value to improve system efficiency.
