N2 - This paper proposes a double consequent-pole permanent magnet linear wave generator (DCPPMLWG) applied to an oscillating float-type direct-drive wave energy generation system. This proposal aims to address the problems of long mechanical transmission chains and the low efficiency of traditional rotating wave energy power generation devices. Firstly, the basic structure, parameters of the DCPPMLWG is introduced. Secondly, the influence of the number of units on the output characteristics is analyzed. The four-unit DCPPMLWG is selected as a wave generator, and the average output power at sinusoidal speed is simulated. The effects of amplitude and frequency on the output power are analyzed. This study finally investigates the efficiency characteristics of the four-unit DCPPMLWG at sinusoidal speed. The overall efficiency of the wave power generator is calculated, providing a theoretical basis and a structural innovation for the efficient direct-drive conversion of wave energy.
