abstract = "A Conformal Load-bearing Antenna Structure (CLAS) of the honeycomb sandwich structures embedded with the micro-strip antenna is designed. The mechanical and electrical performances of the CLAS are analyzed with the use of finite element method. The electrical performance of CLAS including loss and gain are calculated. The structural deformation is predicted using finite element method. The results of three-point bending test are compared with those of finite element method. A good agreement is showed. The variations of structural-load-carrying capacity for different honeycomb thickness are evaluated by the finite element method. The influence of honeycomb thickness on the electrical performance of CLAS is analyzed. Finally, the integrated relation curves including mechanical and electrical performance are obtained.",
