Abstract

The calculation of signal-to-noise ratio for infrared staring sensor is a necessary segment for its parameters estimation and validation. Calculation Methods are introduced from the field of electrons, The complete noise model is built. The contribution to system detection capability is analyzed for different noise source. The scope of applications for electrons method and D-star method are compared. Then the main factors which influenced the system signal-to-noise most are analyzed. Finally, the capability of MSTI-3 for atmosphere measuring is calculated.
