Abstract

Working principle, feature, current situation and future development of the aerosol infrared decoy are summarized, and a new type of aerosol infrared decoy modulated by laser is emphasized. The simulation results show that compared with the traditional infrared decoy, the aerosol infrared decoy modulated by laser enhances the capability of protecting targets and countermining infrared imaging guidance weapons effectively. It is a new direction of aerosol infrared decoy.
