Abstract
With the rapid development of the Chinese highspeed railway (CRH), How to describe the traction and energy consumption characteristics for the Electric Motor Train Units (EMU s) accurately becomes emphasis and nodus. In this paper, we optimized the logical control strategy in real typical operating conditions, then the muti-partical homogeneous rod model for the type of CRH 2 MEUs had been built up to realize the continuous traction calculation and analysis of energy consumption characteristics. Simulation and calculation results show that the designed model has a more accurate characterization and more reference value for the MEUs optimization such as railway line design, train operation, energy saving, etc.
