Abstract

The deactivation of photocatalyst had been the most bafflement during the application of photocatalytic Technology. In this paper, the mechanism for photocatalytic deactivation in gas-solid photocatalytic and liquid-solid photocatalytic reactions, the technologies for analyzing the activity of photocatalysts are introduced, and the studies on the deactivation and regeneration of titanium dioxide photocatalyst in environmental pollution control at home and abroad in recent years were summarized, which give some reference for deactivation and regeneration during the application of photocatalysts. At last, the trends of deactivation of photocatalyst are prospected.
