Abstract

To analyze the direct and indirect effectiveness of added value increasing resulted from factors of production in Chinese construction industry, the composition of factors of production in construction industry were analyzed, and a path analysis model was constructed. The data are from relevant statistics from 1996 to 2007. The results are as follows: Firstly, the increasing of added value in construction industry is mainly from quality improvement of employees and effective uses of current assets. Meanwhile, the amount of labor input and effective uses of fixed assets are the main two factors which have indirect effectiveness on increasing of added value in construction industry.
