Abstract

On the basis of the space geometry relation of spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), its Doppler parameters formulation is built in this paper. Taking the earth rotation and oblateness into consideration, the orbit perturbation, attitude errors and its stability effects on SAR Doppler parameters are analyzed. The simulation result shows that orbit disturbance is the key factor to Doppler error, and the enhancement of attitude stabilization can lead to the decline of Doppler error as well as its variability. The conclusion is valuable for the determination and optimization of the system parameters.
