Abstract

With advantages such as high torque density, interior permanent magnet synchronous machine (IPMSM) is widely used in high-tech fields. The rotor substructures bring great complexity to the performance analysis and structural design of the machine. Firstly, the 'parameter conflicts' of different substructures with different functions in the machine were analyzed. The effects of different structures on magnetic field distribution and harmonic content were analyzed. Meanwhile, the impact of changes in material properties on the accuracy of performance analysis of IPMSM with different rotor structures has been studied. High performance substructure of rotor and machine design methods have been studied and analyzed based on this.
