Analysis and design of Aodamei Fitness Leisure Center in Anshan with environment temperature action taken into account

Abstract

The circumference of outer ring in annular concrete structure of Aodamei Fitness and Leisure Center in Anshan is 500 m, so ANSYS, SAP2000 and ETABS finite element are used to analyze and compare the internal force of the structure with expansion joint and without it when environment temperature conditions are taken into account. It is complex to set two beams and two columns on both sides of expansion joint in the ring structure, at the same time the structure can not give steady support to upper reticulated shell, so the scheme without expansion joint is appropriate to be adopted. Without expansion joint along the ring, the calculated tensile stress in the structure's beams and slabs are 3.03 N/mm2 and 3.95 N/mm2 respectively during construction in winter after concrete has been cast in summer, and the moment of critical section in column of outer ring is 8 times as large as the moment without temperature effect considered. Meanwhile, the combined moment of column without expansion joint and with temperature effect considered is 1.5 times as big as the moment of column with expansion joint and without temperature effect considered. Then based on the calculation results, prestress along the ring is used to resist tensile stress due to temperature effect. In order to facilitate construction, all the annular prestressing reinforcements are placed in the ring beam; method for tensioning prestressing reinforcements is given. To resist the moment caused by load, environment temperature and radial equivalent load of prestress which is much higher than the moment caused by load alone, four large angle irons are placed in company as well as the longitudinal reinforcements. Reinforcements in beam can pass through the interspaces of the angle irons, which can simplify construction. With these methods, difficult problems in design and construction of project with environment temperature effect taken into account are effectively resolved.
