Abstract

Numerical investigation of flow structure was done in a low speed axial compressor with positive bowed stator passage. With the reasons of radial force of blade and the strengthened leakage flow, the flow structure shows simpler in positive bowed stator's passage than the one in straight stator's passage. But with the impact of surface force results from complex shape of positive bowed stator, the air flow out of the passage mixes intensely. And it makes the total number of singular points increase and the vortex structure become more complex.
