abstract = "The reliable navigation of mobile robots outdoors depends on high-precision maps, accurate localization and efficient path planning. The complexity and variability of outdoor scenes bring great challenges to the navigation of mobile robots. The safety of mobile robot operation is the premise of application. In this paper, a navigation system including localization, human detection and path planning is proposed for the safety of mobile robot in outdoor tasks. We use Support Vector Machine (SVM) to carry out human detection for 3D point cloud before path planning. And special avoidance processing is carried out for clusters labeled as human. The system can enhance the safety of robot and human in the operation of mobile robot.",
