Abstract

This paper describes an approach to precise determine the test mass loading position based on energy view. In the suspension system, the energy of the pan, the mass and the suspended coil are conserved. According to the centroid height changes of the pan, the suspended coil and their geometric dimensions, the relationship between suspended coil position and the mass loading position is established. Only by measuring the position changes of the suspended coil after loading the mass, the offset of the mass loading position can be determined.
