Abstract
Satellites communication networks by means of optical WDM intersatellite links (ISLs) with wavelength routing is demonstrated. A method has been described for dimensioning their required wavelengths. Using this method, satellite network with the proposal to include WDM ISLs is investigated and discussed to estimate the bounds of its wavelength requirements based on considering the regular Bi-directional Manhattan Street Network as the physical ISL topologies of the networks.
