An analysis on interaction parameters of binary solid solutions

Abstract

The interaction parameters of binary solid solutions have been analysed and the concept of total interaction parameter was proposed, which involves the paramagnetic-disordered, magnetic and ordered interaction parameters. In addition, a method of estimating paramagnetic-disordered interaction parameter from the experimental phase diagrams was presented and the parameters of the α phase in the Fe-Al and Fe-Cr binary systems were estimated.
