abstract = "This paper proposes a metamaterial-inspired radome with a wide absorption band and a highly-transparent transmission window. The proposed radome is configured by replacing the ground plane of a metamaterial-inspired absorber with a band-pass frequency selective surface (FSS). In the receiving mode, the radome shows absorption of 90\% from 9.1 to 24.8 GHz and a transmission of 95\% at 28.1 GHz. In the transmitting mode, it works as a band-pass filter of 28.1GHz with a same transmission as that in receiving mode and reflects all the frequencies out of band.",
