Abstract
In the high-performance control algorithms used in modern motor drive systems, accurate information about the rotor position is indispensable. As a type of position sensor, inductosyn is widely used in industrial automation and other fields because it can work in harsh environments and have higher precision. However, the inductosyn is a multi-pole structure so only relative angles can be obtained. In view of this phenomenon, this paper proposes an absolute angle calculation method based on dual-fine channel data fusion algorithm. This method can obtain absolute angle by employing the signals of two multi-pole channels and has good resistance to interference. The simulation results verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the method, and show that the accuracy of this method is significantly improved compared to the previous method.
