Abstract

Infrared transparent indium tin oxide (ITO) thin films are employed as top electrodes to construct all-solid-state WO3–V2O5 electrochromic devices. The devices enable yellow/green multicolor switching together with tunable infrared emissivity. The top ITO layer plays an active role in infrared emissivity regulation, which is triggered by oxygen vacancies (OVs) migration in the top ITO layer and precedes the Li+–driven visible color switching.
