Adaptive predicting control for electrical load simulator

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

Electrical load simulator (ELS) is used for actuator performance testing on the ground. Disturbance torque is the key factor influencing test result. To improve ELS loading accuracy, this paper proposed an adaptive prediction control. This scheme predicts the trend of disturbance torque through the analysis of actuator position command. A compensation torque command is constructed by first differential and second differential of actuator position command. Its practical application shows that this scheme can reduce more than 90% of disturbance torque and can avoid system shock some extent.
