Abstract

The adaptive finite-time stabilization problem is considered for a class of nonlinear systems with uncertainties. By using the methodology of following multiple-surface sliding modes, a recursive procedure is provided. An adaptive finite-time control law is obtained, which guarantees finite-time stability of the closed system.
