Abstract
The method of inertial line of sight (LOS) and inertial LOS rate reconstruction in strapdown imaging homing system was investigated. Based on adaptive central difference Kalman filter (ACDKF), a novel ACDKF inertial LOS reconstruction filter was proposed to obtain more precise inertial LOS and LOS rate information. Instead of conventional attitude updating algorithms, a CDKF attitude estimator was constructed firstly, where the motion characters of missile attitude was applied effectively. And then the inertial LOS reconstruction filter was designed to obtain more precise inertial LOS information by using the outputs of the proposed attitude estimator, where the CDKF and Saga-Husa time-varying noise statistics estimation method were applied. The results of computer simulations confirm the validity of the proposed inertial LOS reconstruction filter, which can be used to improve the accuracy of inertial LOS and LOS rate estimation. Thus it can be used as an effective method to inertial LOS and LOS rate estimation problem of strapdown imaging homing system.
