Abstract

Based on the finite element method, the absorption characteristics of anechoic coating embedding frustum-of-a-cone cavities with air backing are studied. The absorption characteristics of both single-cavity coating and mix-cavity coating are obtained by numerical simulation respectively. The results show that the absorption characteristics of coating embedding frustum-of-a-cone cavities are better than those of coating embedding cylinder cavities under the same perforated rate.
