abstract = "A novel air-hydraulic cylinder and a new air-hydraulic servo system for driving robots is presented in this paper. In the new system, taking the advantages both in hydraulic and pneumatic, air-hydraulic control technique is developed. In this way, comparing with traditional pneumatic and hydraulic system. The new system is of higher stiffness accuracy and simplicity. In the pneumatic circuit, two positions three ways valves, PCM valves and oil on-off valves is involved, the simulation and experiments' results show that this method is effective.",
