Abstract
With using micro-electronics, wireless sensors and MEMS more conveniently, electrochemical batteries as power sources have many flaws, however, piezoelectric energy harvestings receive more attention because of their advantages of simple structure, less heat, less electromagnetic interference, no pollution and easily microminiaturizing, and the power generated can easily meet the requirement of lower power-dissipated productions. The carrent state of piezoelectric energy harvesting study was reviewed here. Some important problems were investigated to improve efficiency of power energy harvesting by altering configuration of piezoelectric device circuitry and power storage in order to maximize energy extracted from ambient sources and the development perspective of piezoelectric energy harvesting was studied. Piezoelectric energy harvesting as power source could be used in missile fuze, bridge health scrutiny, ground sea forenotice system and so on. It would also bring fast increasing in systems of micro wireless sensor, integrated systems and self-power MEMS.
