Abstract

This paper presents a reflective learning model for computer undergraduates' education. After comparing the curriculums for the computer specialties in the prominent U.S. and Chinese universities, this paper suggests that Chinese computer undergraduates most probably "lose outside class" because of insufficient reflective learning. Therefore, after introducing the concept of reflective learning, this paper proposes a reflective learning model for computer undergraduates and further investigates its validness through a case study in two students clubs. It also discusses the experiences and findings in cultivating reflective learning ability for computer students.
