Abstract

A reconfigurable leaky-wave antenna based on liquid crystal is proposed in this paper. This antenna is fed by a gap substrate integrated waveguide (G-SIW) and can be reconfigurable by the liquid crystal (LC). The simulation results show that the raised reconfigurable leaky-wave antenna has a wide scanning range from -65 deg to 62 deg.
