A privacy risk assessment model based on tape framework

Abstract

With1 the development of online social media platform, people are gaining more opportunities to show themselves, meanwhile, more personal information will be exposed to the public. This paper proposes a user's privacy risk assessment model based on the Trust-Aware framework, which introduces two parameters - privacy awareness and trust- awareness. And the model also integrates the needs of users in the actual application situation, quantitatively assessing the risk of privacy leakage that may be caused by users' online social behavior in three aspects: user's privacy awareness, social risk and content risk. The assessment model also generates a visual assessment report in forms of charts to help users fully and objectively recognize the potential privacy leakage in the OSNs, and establish the right sense of privacy. Tests result shows that the assessment model can accurately and comprehensively summarizes the full online social behavior of users, and assesses the probability of privacy leakage. Practical operation shows that the system has good stability. The assessment model provides a new idea for online social platform service providers to protect their users' data, which has practical and promotional value.
