A novel torque servo control system for the flywheel motor

Abstract

This paper proposes a novel torque control system for the flywheel motor which is applied to the satellite attitude control system. A corresponding novel control method for the four-quadrant operation is introduced. Via this method, the torque stability can be improved, and the torque jumps can be reduced effectively. Analysis and experimental results verify the effectiveness of the system.
