Abstract

A new method using negative delay circuit to cancel out the positive group delays due to "transistor latency" in remote sensing and wireless communication systems is proposed in this paper. Using the negative group delay circuit, the advance time more than twenty percent of the input pulse width can be easily achieved. The underlying principle of the method is that negative feedback can be used to produce negative group delays. It is easily to see that the application of the negative group delay circuit can speed up the communication systems, and the new method proposed in this paper may be widely used in microelectronic remote sensing communication domain.
