Abstract

Multipath is one of main errors in GPS and other satellite navigation systems, it seriously affects the performance of the navigation receiver. In this paper, a novel method of multipath mitigation is proposed based on the analysis of multipath signal model and the characteristics of the pseudo-code autocorrelation function. The method is supported by the character that the jump point position of the autocorrelation function's slop isn't affected by the multipath signals, the position is detected by using wavelet transform, then the discriminator result is got to adjust the code phase to achieve the purpose of multipath mitigation. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the method is not restricted by the number of multipaths, discriminator results are more accurate, the capability of multipath mitigation is significantly improved.
