Abstract

this paper analyses the theory of dead time in Direct Predictive Control, and then proposes a novel dead-time compensation method which can optimize the process of selecting the Voltage Vector by the cost function. The simulation results show that the THD of phase current is decreased and the waveform is improved after using the proposed method, which verifies the analysis and confirms the performance of the new method.
