Abstract
This paper utilizes the constraint handling capability of Explicit Model Predictive Control (EMPC) to propose a technique for non-cascaded line-constrained EMPC applicable to Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (IPMSMs). Owing to its multi-input multi-output structure, it is possible to utilize EMPC to construct a fast-responding, structurally simple non-cascade controller. However, it is challenging to implement non-cascade EMPC algorithms with extended model dimensions on embedded devices due to the memory consumption and execution efficiency issues of traditional EMPC. To address this issue, this paper proposes a solution based on Line-constrained EMPC. By reconfiguring the constraints of the nonlinear EMPC controller into linear constraints, the execution efficiency of the algorithm is significantly improved and memory consumption is reduced, enabling its implementation on embedded devices. The correctness of the algorithm was verified through experimentation.
