A new position loop stiffness testing method for linear motor servo systems

Abstract

A new position loop stiffness testing method for linear motor servo systems is proposed in this paper, in which a high thrust linear DC motor is adopted as the loading motor. The main factors that influence the position loop stiffness testing are analyzed. The high thrust linear DC motor is designed and optimized. Last, the position loop stiffness testing platform is set up and the relevant experimental measurements are completed.
