Abstract

Transient interruption failures in signal electrical connectors under external vibration conditions can significantly degrade signal integrity and compromise the reliability of electronic systems. However, reliably reproducing and capturing such failure events remains a significant technical challenge. This paper presents a novel part-oriented test system designed to monitor the dynamic contact performance of high-speed connectors under vibration conditions. The system facilitates the measurement of dynamic contact resistance and interruption duration. Additionally, the momentary interruption failure phenomenon is reproduced, and the effects of initial contact force and vibration amplitude are investigated. These findings contribute to enhancing the dynamic electrical contact reliability of high-speed connectors in vibrational environments.
