Abstract

The contracting experiments were conducted on 69 concrete prisms, which include 5 different strength grades, 2 curing conditions, and 2 humidity environments, and experimental data of concrete shrinkage for 589d were accumulated. The influence coefficients of some factors on the shrinkage of concrete were obtained by normalization and fitting 588 experimental data collected from references. A new multi-coefficients shrinkage model for concrete was proposed based on the formula of influence coefficients and experimental data, which was suitable for the humidity from 10% to 100%, temperature from 5℃ to 80℃, theoretical thickness from 10mm to 500mm, curing time from 1d to 500d, cement content from 190kg/m3 to 500kg/m3, and water-cement ratio(by mass) from 0.35 to 0.70. The calculation results from proposed shrinkage model is agreed well with the experimental data.
