Abstract

Streak Tube Imaging Lidar (STIL) is a promising imaging system as its high frame rate and good image quality, which can help SAR image the short scale ocean wave. In this paper, we based on laser radar equation, simulate streak imaging of short scale ocean wave by the optical scattering model. Through the experiment in Yellow Sea in China, we get the real short scale ocean wave images by using STIL. According to the inversion algorithm, we get restoration imaging of ocean surface with short scale ocean wave.
