Abstract

This paper discusses how to synchronize two identical cellular neural network chaotic systems with unknown parameters. Chaotic characteristic analysis of cellular neural networks(CNN) is investigated firstly, and then adaptive control strategies are adopted. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, a modified adaptive controller combining one-way coupling and active control is proposed. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show the validity and advantage of the proposed method, which has shorter synchronization time and better synchronization performance compared with the traditional methods.
